ANFRIZ is a breakthrough system for preventing frost accumulation on agricultural crops. Frost damage is one of the biggest problems within the agricultural sector, mainly during low temperature seasons, resulting in billions of euros being lost each year.

ANFRIZ aims to design and test a technology for deploying an artificial greenhouse that acts as a protective anti-frost layer, over the crop. The ANFRIZ innovation is supported by a fully automated system that operates according to local weather thresholds and real-time analysed data to engage itself and provide precise temperature control of the local ambient air temperature, surrounding the crop.
