Job Overview
A skilled technician with a passion for electronics and industrial automation is sought to join the team. The role involves working on diverse projects, ranging from system integration and proof-of-concepts to cutting-edge European research and innovation initiatives in areas such as Water and Food Quality Monitoring, Smart Agriculture, and Sensor Systems.
The selected candidate will be part of the Electronics, Communications, and Networks team, contributing to innovative projects within the broad domains of the Internet of Things (IoT) and Automation Systems (AS).
An inquisitive, hands-on individual with a keen interest in technology projects involving electronics and automations is encouraged to apply. The role offers the opportunity to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of R\&D engineers and scientists engaged in high-quality applied research and innovation.
Responsibilities and Duties
As an IoT R\&D Technician in our team, you will be expected to:
- Assembling working prototypes for projects involving electronics, electromechanical and hydraulics components
- Perform on-site installations of off-the-self sensors and prototypes, ensuring proper setup and functionality in real-world conditions.
- Develop and execute testing scenarios for validating prototypes and internal products, identify bugs, and prepare detailed testing reports
- Be responsible for the inventory management of the ECN department
- Handling Orders & Shipments
- Miscellaneous daily task assigned by department managers
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Degree or Technical School in Electronics/Electrical/Mechanical or closely related fields
- Good knowledge in MS office (word & excel)
- Team player, good communicator and problem-solver
- Proactive attitude toward troubleshooting and identifying process improvements
Experience in any of the following would be advantageous
- Relevant hands-on experience in electronics and installations
- Relevant experience with tools for electronics, testing tools and reworking stations
- Relevant experience in inventory management, handling orders and logistics
Language Requirements
Greek or English (Fluent verbal and written communication)
