We are pleased to announce the successful completion of the interim phase of our HARESS project, which was initiated on May 1, 2023, and is scheduled to be completed on April 30, 2025, spanning a period of 24 months. The HARESS workflow is based on the effective implementation of seven work packages (7 WPs). The project has successfully reached its interim period, achieving significant milestones that reflect the collaborative efforts and expertise of all partners.

This national – DUAL USE – project aims to develop a novel, highly versatile and scalable multi-agent system, encompassing practical features and functionalities. Key features include a multi-UAV system for autonomous search and surveillance (SSO), an intelligent launching and recovery (i-LR) platform suitable for unmanned surface vehicles (USVs) and vessels, and a centralized command and control center based on cloud platform infrastructure and machine learning algorithms for object detection, recognition, and tracking.

Stay tuned for more updates to come!

The project DUAL USE/0922/0032 is funded by the European Union Recovery and Resilience Facility of the NextGenerationEU instrument, through the Research and Innovation Foundation.
