We are looking for a researcher with a desire, ability and talent to work on all aspects of research project proposal and implementation, in fields related to Internet of Things, Data Analytics, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence to join our software R&D team.
As part of the team, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on state-of-the-art projects in collaboration with world class (local and international) research and innovation organizations, innovative SMEs and startups. We like easy going, creative individuals with curiosity for the state-of-the-art and desire to work on different projects and technologies.
Due to the research-oriented nature of the company, you will have the opportunity to work on a multitude of technologies through several international projects, in collaboration with many large organisations. Implementations range from standard integration projects to advanced state of the art research projects as well as product developments for global markets.
Responsibilities and Duties
As a researcher in our team, you will be expected to:
Perform research activities for the implementation of state of the art projects as well develop proof of concept of novel ideas.
Contribution to software engineering tasks, such as In-Depth Analysis, Specifications and Design (Requirements, Functional & Technical Specifications), and work together with our software development team for inclusion of the results to the final system to be delivered.
Co-ordinate and work together with external project partners towards the efficient implementation of the project.
Participate in the execution of the team’s projects, assisting or taking full responsibility of project deliverables.
Participate or take full responsibility of new endeavors for project proposals.
Qualifications and Skills
PhD Level of Education in Data Science, Data Analytics, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence or other related fields
Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills in both Greek and English
Analytical and problem-solving skills;
Experience in participation in EU and/or RIF funded projects
Willingness to travel periodically for EU project obligations
Added Preferred Qualifications
Experience in proposal writing for European and Local funding agencies
Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
Understanding of code versioning tools i.e. Git, microservices deployment and Cloud Computing
Inquisitive nature and curiosity about new technologies that can be useful to the team
Language Requirements
English or/and Greek (Fluent verbal and written communication)
